Lost

Lost, confused, and abandoned by reason
Stripped bare in the midst of a cruel winter season
Consummate victim of the Great Fall
In crippling pain and now forced to crawl
On knees not accustomed to bending,
On thorny and harsh, rocky ground,
With abiding dreams of an ending
To the pain he sees all around
And sleepless dreams unrelenting,
Of
A Peace that will never come…
A Love that has left him alone…
A Life of squandered splendor…
And a Death to suit such a one!

Ten Reasons To Me

I’m going to the corner
Because one I’m a loner.
Two, people scare me
to the point I want to flee.
Three, I hate myself
That’s why there are suicide notes on the shelf.
Four, I want to hide
Just like I wish to fly.
Five, I already heard too many goodbye’s
And how I wish those were lies.
Six, my heart hurts
I swear I will burst.
Seven, corners are dark
Light burns and leaves a mark
Eight, I don’t like the light
Because it doesn’t feel right.
Nine, I know I’ll go insane
Because I know peoples sacrifices were in vein.
Ten, I feel others dislike towards me
To the point where dead is what I want to be.

I Fell In Love With You

I see the world through my eyes
As a vicious cycle of pain and lies
You’ll never see what’s inside of me
So back away and leave me be
I’m sorry to say
But stay away
I don’t want to hurt you
Even though it may seem cruel
You are there in everything I do
That’s only because I fell in love with you

Does anyone care?

Does anyone care?
Do they even want to know?
I don’t think they do
Is there anyone out there?
Someone whose shoulder I can cry on?
I don’t think there is
Is there any hope for me?
Is there any sort of light?
I don’t think it exists
Does anyone care?
Is there anyone out there?
I don’t even know
Can anyone help me?
Anyone at all?
I’ve lost all hope…

Look! There he is!

Look! There he is!
Death is on these walls
Death is in this air
Death is on this ground
Don’t you see him?
He’s standing next to me
Whispering in my ear
He’s with me right now
Can’t you see him?
Death is behind you
He’s breathing down your neck
Death is close
Don’t you feel him?
Death is caressing me
He’s holding me close
He’s whispering sweet things
Don’t you see?
Can’t you feel him?

Look! There he is!

An Ode to Love

AN ODE TO LOVE

Love resides in the temple of a loving heart,
Both they live together in a room very small,
Eat, drink, dance, play and pray.
Like birds, lilies, sing prayer in silence calm.
When divine romance starts, light shines,
Soul baths in love, spiritual discourses start.
When fiery desire of love illumines the shrine,
Dressed up in a beggars’rags, lover sings under stars.
No one can slay love, none can burn love,
No one can drown love, none can destroy love.
O love ! Birds with broken wings cannot understand you.
O dream! Wanderers of barren fields don’t know you.
O soul! Kissing lips touch and depart,
Lovers’ names remain eternal on lips by far!

Because She Would Ask Me Why I Loved Her

If questioning would make us wise
No eyes would ever gaze in eyes;
If all our tale were told in speech
No mouths would wander each to each.

Were spirits free from mortal mesh
And love not bound in hearts of flesh
No aching breasts would yearn to meet
And find their ecstasy complete.

For who is there that lives and knows
The secret powers by which he grows?
Were knowledge all, what were our need
To thrill and faint and sweetly bleed?.

Then seek not, sweet, the “If” and “Why”
I love you now until I die.
For I must love because I live
And life in me is what you give.
